Telangana Government Supports Archery Premier League to Boost Local Sports
The Telangana Government has officially backed the Archery Premier League (APL), set to take place in Hyderabad from October 8 to 18. This initiative aims to enhance the local sports ecosystem and promote archery, particularly in rural areas. With the introduction of the Kakatiya Knights franchise, the APL is expected to attract top archers and elevate the sport's profile in the state. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized the government's commitment to making Hyderabad a sports hub, with aspirations to host the Olympics in 2036. The league will feature six teams and a fast-paced format, providing valuable exposure for Indian archers.
